2006 Texas “Super Lawyers”

Andy Waters, Peter Kraus, Charles Siegel & Troyce Wolf Recognized Among the Best in the State by Peers

DALLAS — Waters Kraus Paul & Siegel partners C. Andrew Waters, Peter A. Kraus, Charles S. Siegel and Troyce G. Wolf have been named 2006 Texas “Super Lawyers” by Texas Monthly magazine.

The award recognizes the men as among the top five percent of Texas plaintiffs’ attorneys in the area of personal injury product liability. Waters and Siegel were additionally recognized for their work in product liability litigation. Siegel also earned recognition for his appellate work.

“We are very pleased for the firm,” said Kraus, who has been named a Texas Super Lawyer for four consecutive years. “The recognition validates how we choose to practice law, and underscores the importance of the work we do on behalf of our clients.”

“That we earn this recognition from our peers — on both sides — is particularly humbling,” continued Waters, a three-time Super Lawyer. “There are so many outstanding lawyers in the state. We’re honored to be considered among them.”

The Super Lawyers publication was developed in 1991 as a resource to assist attorneys and sophisticated consumers in the search for legal counsel. The annual magazine was initially produced for the Minnesota market, and now is published for markets around the country.

Kraus and Siegel have both been recognized as Texas Super Lawyers since the program’s inception in 2003. Waters has earned the designation in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Wolf was recognized in 2005 as well as the current year. The four attorneys will be featured in the October 2006 issue of Texas Monthly as well as in a special supplemental magazine that is distributed to attorneys in 20 states.
