Biography
Andy Waters is a founding partner of Waters Kraus Paul & Siegel and a veteran trial lawyer who has spent more than three decades at the forefront of complex civil litigation. Based in the firm’s Dallas office, Andy has been on the cutting edge of asbestos exposure, toxic tort and mass tort litigation since 1991, when he began representing injured people and their families after starting his career as a defense attorney. He has tried numerous personal injury and toxic tort cases to verdict, securing significant results for people harmed by dangerous products and toxic exposures.
Andy has played a central role in building Waters Kraus Paul & Siegel into a nationally respected litigation firm known for taking on difficult cases and devoting the resources necessary to pursue them successfully. Widely respected among plaintiffs’ lawyers, Andy is a forward-thinking trial lawyer who closely follows developments in the law, litigation and emerging areas of mass tort practice. He has helped position the firm to respond to changing legal and social issues while remaining focused on its core mission of representing people harmed by corporate misconduct, dangerous products and toxic exposures.
Andy is also committed to sharing his experience with the next generation of trial lawyers. He has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston Law Center and Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, bringing the practical lessons of decades in the courtroom to his students. Throughout his career, Andy has combined trial experience with a willingness to tackle new challenges, helping shape both the practice of plaintiffs’ law and the firm he helped create.
