Biography

Joy Sparling is a partner at Waters Kraus Paul & Siegel in the firm’s Illinois office. Joy heads up the Asbestos Litigation Intake Department, and in addition to asbestos has a special interest in complex product liability cases. A native of Davenport, Iowa, Joy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Trinity College in Deerfield, Illinois. She was awarded a Juris Doctor degree with honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was a Baker & McKenzie International Law Scholar. Joy was admitted to the State Bar of Illinois in 1987. She is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Rock Island County Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.
