John Henderson, a 59 year-old native of Washington State was diagnosed with an asbestos-related disease, mesothelioma, in 2000. He and his wife of 25 years have three children. Mr. Henderson was a member of the Aluminum, Brick and Glass Union – Local #310 in Wenatchee, Washington. He worked at an industrial plant in the area from 1968 to 2000 as a pot liner, tapper and carbon setter. While there, he was regularly exposed to various asbestos-containing products throughout his career. In 2001, Mr. Henderson was awarded a verdict at trial.
