We are overjoyed and honored to have helped the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) serve families affected by child abuse by hosting an annual drive to collect needed items from their holiday wish list every year since the early 2000s.
The donations of these toys and essentials to DCAC’s Family Assistance and Therapy programs help eliminate barriers between families and healing. Want to join us in supporting the DCAC? You can hand deliver items to their location in Dallas or order directly off their Amazon wish list. Find out more: www.dcac.org/wishlist.
The DCAC works alongside several other community partners to investigate and prosecute the most severe cases of child abuse in Dallas County. The DCAC’s four main areas of focus are justice and coordinated investigation, therapy and recovery, education and training, and long-term support for families.
In 2015 alone, DCAC served 4164 children and their non-offending family members including 13198 hours of therapy, 2117 forensic interviews. Find out how you can help them carry out their mission at www.dcac.org.
