Waters Kraus Paul & Siegel Verdicts Listed in Top Verdicts Database

Four Waters Kraus Paul & Siegel Asbestos Cases Are Listed in the Legal Intelligencer’s “Top Verdicts from Past 20 Years”

Four successful Waters Kraus Paul & Siegel verdicts in asbestos-related mesothelioma cases have been chosen for inclusion in The Legal Intelligencer’s database of the top Pennsylvania verdicts from the past 20 years. Published by ALM Media Properties, LLC, this interactive database allows a visitor to search through two decades of verdicts and settlements from a wide range of matters.

Asbestos exposure has long been linked to mesothelioma, a deadly form of cancer that can lie dormant for decades after exposure. Research linking asbestos exposure and mesothelioma dates back for many years, yet many corporations knowingly failed to warn about the dangers of their products. There is no known cure for the insidious disease. Diagnosis is typically made after a brief period of symptoms, and life expectancy is generally counted in months.

“All of our clients suffer tremendous loss. Achieving a verdict on their behalf is so rewarding,” said Troyce Wolf, Waters Kraus Paul & Siegel partner and lead trial counsel on the four cases. “Mesothelioma is just such a devastating disease.”

Waters Kraus Paul & Siegel partner Demetrios Zacharopoulos, who helped try all four cases, explained that “these were difficult cases tried under difficult circumstances, for hardworking people. These are the clients I am honored to represent.” He continued, “I’m glad to know their stories will not be forgotten.”
